Troy

This little guy turned 4 years old on Monday!

We had a big weekend with Kate's baptism, which I'm sorry to say kind of eclipsed any potential birthday plans for Troy. But it meant that both pairs of grandparents were here for his birthday, so we partied hard!

We tried to take him to the farm park for lunch, which is this awesome little park that is, well, pretty self-explanatory, but when we got there we learned it is closed on Mondays! What??? So we quickly found an alternative park which turned out to be just as fun. For all of us.

For dinner we took him to Incredible Pizza (I think it has a longer name but I'm not sure what it is) - it was referred to us as an "upscale" Chuck-E-Cheese. (Can Chuck-E-Cheese be "upscale"?) The kids had a blast, and we stayed up late and also drove race cars!

We came home and had chocolate cake and presents, and my mom found these fantastic fireworks birthday candles in Argentina that we always look forward to on birthdays! They are pretty exciting!

This picture cannot express how excited he was to get these Pop Rocks.

Later we'll have a little "friend" party for Troy. Incidentally, two of his buddies turned 4 at the same time, so his weekends are going to be packed with birthday parties.

What a great four years it has been with this little boy! He just has this lovable sort of... what... apathy? Ha ha! But it's just adorable on him. (Um... as long as he outgrows it before his 30s.) Ha, I'm kidding; he is a fun little dude. A very happy birthday to my favorite little BIG boy!
