Last night I attended my first NFL game, although it was a preseason game it was loads of fun. We had great seats. Section 121 (40 yard line) row 18. Not too much to say about it I'll let the pictures do the talking.
The question of pregame was whether we should by a brat $5 or a Stadium Dog for $6. It seems like a brat is the obvious choice but why would they price the Stadium Dog more than the Brat? Was it better or was it just a marketing scheme? Well Jeremy, Carl, and Scott bought brats and I bought a stadium dog...turns out it was just a marketing scheme.
Below you can see Donavan McNabb ready to take a snap. He looked great the first quarter but didn't do much in the second. You can see John Beck, former BYU quarterback on the far, far right of the picture (#3 on the sidelines). He was just traded to the Skins about 3 weeks ago. One of the reasons I came to this game. Unfortunately he didn't play. We did see him start to put his helmet on then quickly took it off and put his ball cap back on. Maybe next time Beck!
I also wanted to see former BYU tight end Dennis Pitta on the Ravens. He got quite a bit of playing time in the second half (when the second and third string plays) and did really well. He is lined up here to the left of the third down marker.
In all I give this experience a two thumbs up. I didn't mention that this was also Jeremy's and Carl's first game, Scott (far left) is a veteran NFLer. Thanks for the good times boys!

2 sweet nothings:
You know that University of Utah alumnus Paul Kruger also plays for the Baltimore Ravens... He deserves to be mentioned too. Remember that one time he intercepted Max Hall and returned it for 30 yards?... Glorious...
Who is that hottie in the blue striped shirt with his mouth full??? HOOK ME UP!!!
Thanks for showing him such a good time, Travis. He needed it after a long week of paternity leave :o)
