The rest of the story.

Okay, continuing my attempt at summarizing Christmas.

I know you can't really see it, but Kate is wearing a brown and white-polka-dot apron which I made for her. Maybe better pictures of it will come.

Brooklyn was only interested in the unwrapping part, not what was inside. She'd rip into a gift and then without waiting to see what it was, look up and ask, "More? More?"

And to complete the string instrument theme, I got a violin! Okay actually it came free with the cello (???) - I don't know... "Here, have ANOTHER string instrument, as long as you're buying one!" So it is my new ambition to learn to play the violin. Next time you come over I will serenade you with my version of "Mary Had a Little Lamb" or "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star." You can take your pick, because I've learned BOTH! Trust me, I sound awesome.
The aftermath

Then, that evening we had our friends the Brewers and the Jorgensens (only one is pictured) over for Christmas dinner! It was excellent, especially the ham, which was the main part of Christmas we were looking forward to!
Jason didn't make it into any pictures this year (sorry man) but here is Carter who was crawling! My girls love that little guy. (I think Kate is trying to show him some dance moves.)
And, let's round it out with the Christmas puzzle. Why not?
The End.

So I guess you got your camera working then? I think I missed the story about the cello though. Hmm..and unfortunately I will have to pass on the serenade. I used to babysit a girl in violin lessons. 'Nuf said. Great pictures. The aftermath looks excellent.

You bought a cello? I missed that too. We need to talk more. Megan Anderson taught me to play 'Twinkle, twinkle little star' on her cello back in the day. Can't say I remember it. I just remember that I was horrible and I screeched all the time. Hope you have better luck than I did.
