YES WE DID
survive Christmas!
And with pictures too! No the camera has not yet recovered from the washing-machine incident (hoping to send it in for a repair), but thanks to all the last-minute Christmas shoppers out there who have prompted the commercial industry to lure them in with fabulous last-minute sales, I was able to snag a new one at less than half its retail cost, on Christmas Eve. It is not amazing, but it'll do until the other one is back on its feet. It's also spectacularly slow, so all the pictures we did take are blurry and/or way after the event we were trying to capture.
But, since I am again way behind, here is Christmas in review.

the last day on the advent calendar...
The first gift of Christmas!
So I made these little nightgowns for the girls to wear Christmas Eve, and I was so excited because they were my own design and my first attempt at embroidery. Needless to say I was a little deflated when neither of them would even fit over the girls' heads!
No worries - nothing a pair of scissors can't fix!
(I mean the NIGHTGOWNS of course!)
Travis and his cello
Brooklyn had to wait and wait for Kate to wake up
And... I'm having a hard time loading more photos, and I need to go make dinner. So...
TO BE CONTINUED.....
