My family has a longstanding Christmas tradition of building and decorating an elaborate gingerbread house.
Put together, that is a lot of gingerbread.
So far, the house is still unassembled and sitting on a cookie sheet. I am too wiped out to tackle it tonight. But the gingerbread men DID happen tonight!
The cast of characters includes:
A snowman, Santa Claus, a minion, a monster, a Christmas tree, a fly-fisherman (Travis), Krista and Travis on their first date (ice skating), Troy's gingerbread men, and Waldo.
Troy: "I'm doing a pretty good job!"
Oh man, these cracked me up.
You guys. This is only all the candy he DIDN'T eat.
These two got smooshed together as they were cooling, so we made them a couple.
Strictly speaking, it is not completely historically accurate, as there was sadly no mistletoe on our first date.
And Kate copied the gingerbread soap. HA! So creative!
