Troy's First Haircut!

(Unrelated side note: If you read about our trip to New York, my mom wrote her own post following my high school reunion, in which she came up with several pictures from 10 years ago, if you're interested in seeing a few of those here. It was a fun little trip down memory lane for me.)

Well the time finally came that all of my little pumpkins were getting a little scraggly up top. This was a first for Troy, who (ironically, as the only boy of the bunch) has always had the most hair. My girls were both much older before we finally took a pair of shears to their mullets.  Still, Troy acted as though he's been doing this his whole life.

Brooklyn was next - here she is showing off her final cut:
(Kate is in the background ready for her turn)

All her long, long hair was chopped...
She lost a good 6 inches or so that day!

All my little ones' little locks
On a totally unrelated note:
I sure love these cuties. I do realize one is missing (but not forgotten). We sure miss Kate while she's gone all day long!

What a good little smile on Troy.

Troy is so cute!! I love his brown eyes. And did you cut layers on Brooklyn's hair? I am so impressed! Matt really wants me to take Brielle to get her hair cut, but I'd rather just do it at home, although, i don't really know what I'm doing :-). Any pointers? Up until know, Matt's mom has just cut her hair whenever she's been here.
