But, I digress. We are no longer concerned with strollers. This time around, you guessed it - it's the infant swing. Kate never had one, and I bought one for Brooklyn which she didn't really like and never used. When Troy was born, I was determined to find the right swing, because now that we have THREE children I knew I was going to need the hands-free-ness more than ever. So, I set about the task in my usual fashion: buying every possible swing I could get my hands on and keeping the one that turned out to be The One. This time I didn't quite make it to seven, but I got pretty close. I wanted to try one that went side-to-side as well as forward and back, so I acquired one of those (for $5, by the way). And then I happened across this little number that is a swing AND a bouncer! This way I could get rid of ALL the extraneous baby equipment, including my old bouncer, and keep ONE compact little device to do it all! Here is the line-up:
However, I had trouble finding a swing addict like myself to take the extras off my hands (so I am unloading them on my dear friend Wendi who will get to try them out on her new baby at the end of this year!) and then I found it even harder to give up the old bouncy seat which I (and Troy) totally love. Solution? Keep them both of course! Travis already thinks I am on the road to becoming a professional hoarder. Well, I might as well just embrace the role, right?

3 sweet nothings:
Justa huh? Hmmm.. Okay.
I'm jealous you can find all this stuff for so cheap out there, do you have any idea how hard it was for me to find just one double stroller, not to mention that I don't necessarily even really like it. It's huge, heavy, hard to cart around, only fits in the bed of the truck, and pulls to one side whenever I take it out which makes running just that much harder. It's a bit of a pain. And, when I eventually have three kids (which won't be for some time yet, but still) it will be useless when I want to go running because you just can't fit three children in that thing. It just won't work. Ever. Oh well.
Our swing bit the dust, and I refuse to buy a new one for the LAST baby! (He already has a brand spankin new crib, car seat, stroller and high chair...) Where do you find these things so cheap?
Kate looks so ridiculously cute on her first day of preschool. Thanks for our new swings. We can't wait to give them a good home
