A tea party, a student, a swimming pool, an apple orchard, and a football

Somehow I suddenly don't get anything done anymore, so I'm going to just throw a big messy recap out there for you to do what you want with it. Here is everything I've been meaning to blog about, and haven't. I will even include subheadings for ease of reading. (You're welcome.)

*Obligatory pictures of my progeny
I took these hoping to get something useful for a birth announcement for Troy. He was a week old at the time. I made the announcements AND had them printed, and there they sit on my desk. Keep an eye on your mailbox. Or more realistically, maybe just keep an eye on this blog. It will probably make an eventual appearance here before it makes an appearance in your mailbox. Sorry. Just being frank.

*Travis got an interview invitation!
For those who may not know all about our current schemes, Travis is saddened by the prospect of finishing his Ph.D. this year and no longer being a student. After spending 10 years in school, the idea of graduating forever puts him a little out of his element. He plans to remedy the situation by applying to medical school. This will allow him another leisurely 4 years of student-hood, and residency after that, before he has to enter the world of A Career. He received an invitation to interview at Rocky Vista University in Colorado. We are excited since this was one of the schools that especially caught our attention. It is a D.O. school, and a brand new one besides, so that is why you've never heard of it. (You hadn't, had you?) You can read up more about it if you're interested. Or talk to Travis, and he will tell you. The interview is in December, so sometime after that we'll hopefully hear some more news.

*My cute brother applied to BYU's advertising program, and it was hilarious.

*We went apple picking on Saturday
And we had so much fun! The weather was GORGEOUS, and the farm we went to was a hit with the kids. Thanks to Karen who organized this idea, we arrived earlier than we would have had we been running on regular Lundell Standard Time, and narrowly avoided the crazy crowds that came later. We had fun hanging out with the Riches & Jenkins, who also helped us know which apples were best and where. We picked over $50 worth of apples! And then threw in a pair of pumpkins for good measure.
And, here are my boys, napping. With a football, of course. Mostly I like that Travis is wearing an orange Silly Band.

Tune in next time for:
A Tale of Three Baby Swings...

The announcement pictures are beautiful. I especially love the two of the girls with their tea cups, but the one on the bottom is of course most stunning of all.

Cute pics! I think Troy looks like you, Krista.
I like David's vid... it reminds me of our homemade movies back in the day. Remember the one of us on "horses" and it zooms out and we're on a merry-go-round? :)
