The girls & I put together a little survival kit of treats for him too. It's funny because I did the same thing last time he took the MCAT... when we were engaged! Sheesh that was a long time ago. We just put cheesy sayings on a bunch of treats. Kate started helping me cut out labels (hers is on the apple).
Unfortunately, he did not get a great start today since neither of us slept much last night. For me it was general pregnancy sleeplessness - I couldn't breathe (this baby is so high he's taken over my lung space) and was just so uncomfortable, so I'm sure Travis appreciated my tossing and turning. But also, poor little Brookie got sick and was up all night with a fever. She'd cry out every hour or so for water or a hug and she was so scorching hot it was uncomfortable to even hold her. Here is where I found her after breakfast this morning.
And to top it off, Trav & I were both awakened by an earthquake at 5 a.m. In Maryland? Really? And that was pretty much it for attempted sleep last night. Hopefully it won't affect his morning too much! Please send him some ESP messages of encouragement or physics equations.
5 sweet nothings:
GOOD. I'm SO glad that today is THE DAY. We'll be thinking of him today. I'm sure tonight will be MUCH different than last night. love you guys!
What a crazy night! Everything always happens at the same time. At least the earthquake didn't send you into labor. I hope Brooke gets better. Poor little one! Good Luck on the MCAT! I hope you guys stay here!
Good luck Travis! I am sure he will do great despite the sleeplessness. I was in the shower for the earthquake...freaky huh?
We were thinking of Travis today! Hope all went well- I'm sure he did great! I bet it feels SO good to have it over with! I can hardly wait for Spencer to be done with Bar studying! Love all the cute treat ideas- I might have to be a good wife and steal some ideas! And CRAZY about the earthquake!!
Way to go Travis!!! We are so excited for you! Now you can take a deep breathe and relax. Taking that test is an accomplishment in and of itself. With your smarts and work ethic I'm sure you'll get a 45!
