More family visitors...

Or, the post where the pictures outweigh the talking. (Amazing, I know)

Right after we returned from the infamous trip to Utah, we were graced with the presence of Travis's uncle Steve and his wife Becky, her sister Kathy, and their 5 kids (Ashley, Michele, Andrew, Sarah, and Jessica). We all (yes 12!) took up residence in our 1000 sq. ft. apartment for a week! It was fun.

They were out here for Andrew's baseball tournament in NY, so they decided to make a full-blown East Coast trip of it. They spent most of their time touring, but we did join them for a day at a few of the monuments, including the Jefferson Memorial which, inexplicably, Travis had never seen! And WOW was it hot!!!
Lincoln Memorial
A helicopter.
And yep, we walked everywhere! (Soooo much easier without tiny babies!)
The Grays went for paddle boat rides, but sadly, they wouldn't allow children under 2 on the boats (we made up for it with canoeing a few weekends later) so we stayed behind and Travis treated us to some smoothies! Um... I think we got the better end of the deal!
Later we rejoined them to see the Jefferson Memorial
Us and the J-man
Kate was really into posing. Apparently she even got her own photo shoot there in the memorial... I don't know who took all these! Silly girl.
The Grays, and Brooklyn
The whole ensemble - all 12 of us!
I know you can't see us but we were having fun anyhow.
Brooklyn had so much fun sitting on the steps, we couldn't get her off! It was definitely the highlight of her day.
And the highlight of MY day was having all these extra hands to help us! Look, Kate actually got CARRIED for much of the day - a luxury she hasn't enjoyed since Brooklyn came along! Ashley was all too happy to oblige. We love cousins!!!

Last but not least... Santa was on the Metro
Do you see him???

I love the picture on the steps in a line. That is just clever, but that picture is not worth having that many people in your house for that long. You're a trooper.
