Happy Father's Day!

(Yes I'm really late.)
I made these little "happy meals" for Travis (and he shared with his friends) and SHEESH I've never had so many baked goods in my house at once. Sorry, but I will not be doing that again. And if anyone has any use for about 250 stale sugar-cookie "french fries", I can hook you up. Oh yeah, they are made of vanilla cupcakes, brownies, frosting, and sugar cookies. And yes we ate the majority of the leftovers ourselves.

Also, since I had extra cake batter, I thought I'd take another shot at the fondant thing to practice for the upcoming wedding cake attempt. So I tinted the fondant and made it a Father's Day cake. Get it? Does it kind of look like a tie? Only square? It's okay, Travis didn't get it either. All of you who made amazing culinary creations for father's day, please just skip all of this.
And let's not forget the STARS!....
Happy (belated) Father's Day to our 3 favorite fathers!
We love you!!!

I loved reading the stories of Kate's and Brooklyn's "owies." It's funny how children respond so differently to things. (Also, you have such a knack at witty writing.)

I am ridiculously impressed with your happy meals! WOW!! I bet they were as delicious as they look. And, I think the cake you made looks like a tie. You did a great job with it!
