A new milestone for Kate

Remember this?And this?And even this?
Okay so most of us remember how Kate has spent most of her life, well, bald, and what a strain this has been on her poor mother who just wants to do decent "piggy-tails" for crying out loud! Well, my patience has been rewarded!!!!
YES! Those are FRENCH BRAIDS!!!!
I was so excited that (a) she actually let me braid her hair - TWICE - and (b) she has enough hair! *sniff* My little Kate is growing up! She's a REAL GIRL!

OH BOY! THAT IS FREAKIN AWESOME! Its so cute on her too!! I love it! I did a similar do for Lexi the other day... only the rest of the hair below? I combed it UP and made pig tails from it and then I tucked them down and UP so they were like little POOFs on the sides of her head! Of course it was kind of nasty looking since lexi's hair is SOOOOOOOOOOOOO thin. It would look DArLING on Kate! With all that HAIR!!!She is totally growing up!!! how adorable!!!

TOOO CUTE! One day when Tess catches up with Kate you have to teach me how to do that!
Thanks for this morning! I want your recipes:) On the way home Tess said,"mommy, Kate is my buddy! we should give her some play-dough!" You want some:)
I went to SAMS and got some wonderful cheap flowers to brighten up my day!

Aww- Kate's growing lots of hair!! Our guarantee I won't be able to do anything to our girls' hair until they're at least 4. We dont have very hairy genes I guess.

DANG!!!! She all of a sudden has TONS of hair!!! I am SO IMPRESSED!!!! I thought her new haircut had tons of layers in it. Obviously they must have grown in the couple of weeks that I've been gone. This is AWESOME!!!! I got ALL of Madi's hair up in a pony tail today, but I know the french braids will be coming MUCH later! Oh, and you'll have to remind me HOW to french braid. A couple of months ago Spencer was asking me if I knew how to do it. I was like, "Uh YA, of course..... well....... at least I think I do." It's been a LONG time. Maybe I can practice on Kate!!
