- Silly putty on my duvet cover and a tablecloth
- Permanent ink on Kate's hands AND mouth
- A FULL CUP of milk on my couch
- Poop on my carpet.
If you'll excuse me, I think I ought to go back to bed. Also before you judge, I promise I don't just let my kids run rampant unsupervised. It started with one mess and then snowballed from there (i.e. while I was cleaning one thing, my girls thought it would be fun to make more messes for me to clean up! They like the way I clean.)
Remind me why I had kids again??? Oh yeah... because when I'm bawling over an upside-down house, I need some tiny arms around me saying, "It's okay, Mommy."
Anyone want to lend me their full-size washer and dryer???
PS - Um since I missed Thankful Thursday yesterday, I better mention that I am thankful for:
<-- This carpet cleaner is AMAZING, and it comes from the dollar store! Who would guess? I stockpile it.

Oh Krista...
"Dull women have immaculate homes!"
Thank goodness we aren't dull, right! I deal with these situations quite often. I feel for you! :)
ah man. thats what you were talking about. crap. im sorry! Id have thrown in the towel on the day! shoot! Youre amazing. I just had people come over and shampoo my carpets because Lexi's vomit smell wouldnt go away. Maybe i should have tried harder.
=(
I was just thinking the other day how women back in the 50's used to clean their houses wearing dresses & nylons. (Or at least that's the image we've been given.) I clean mine (when I actually clean it) wearing pajamas or other scruffy clothes. :)
I need to go stock up on that stuff! We go through carpet cleaner like crazy!
If the cruise is still on your calendars, we'll be leaving all this crap behind! haha!! T minus about 3 weeks.
