- PATIENCE
- I usually don't go out in the morning so I can catch up on things at home.
- Travis comes home early (I like to say he "gets to" rather than "has to")
- That long drive home means I am DONE and get a whole day off the next day and there's an entire week before Thursday comes back!
- Being away from my kids so long makes me even more appreciative of that moment when I walk in the door and Kate comes running across the room (occasionally naked) and flings herself into my arms, and Brooklyn follows close behind, turbo-crawling at top speed.
Here are a few other items I have been thankful for lately:
Look closely. See that? It says "washable." In two languages.
And they ARE.
I don't know if there's much else to say here. These chips are truly amazing.
A wet/dry shop vac is essential when your child has spilled latex paint on the carpet (black, of course) and you've spent the day soaking and scrubbing it with every detergent imaginable. This baby will suck up the aftermath. It works even better if you have a Travis around to do the hard labor for you. Oh, I'd better put him up here too. Naturally I am thankful for him.
(Sorry it's only a partial picture. This photo was taken by Kate.)
(LOVE YOU BABE!!!)
XOXOXO
2 sweet nothings:
I like you capturing your girls by that tempting plant. I think it is so funny when kids eat dirt. I thin it is healthy. They say that people that touch dirt are healthier and happier!
I LOVE your new header. Did you make it on scrapblog? I really need to make one of those.
Somehow I missed the pictures of Kate's cute haircut! It's adorable!! And she has a lot of hair! Also, the pictures of Brooklyn are so cute! I wish I could see both of those girls in person (as well as you and Travis :-). BTW - Brooklyn's hair is growing so evenly. A lot of Brielle's hair has rubbed off on the side, so there's more on the top and it's a lot longer. I can make it look like a mohawk! I'm considering buzzing it... ok not too much, but I need to do something!
